This delightful, fresh Comet Wagon has an all original vivid deep green cab and chassis, deep orange back, and lighter green grooved wheels. Bright base. Typical of items from this collector, this truck has an outstanding lustre:
Working, intact hinged tailboard:
Nice bright baseplate with spare wheel in place. Correct for this box, this model has ‘Dinky Toys’ and not ‘Supertoys’ cast into the chassis, as well as 418 cast into the orange back underneath.
Cab is mint (including the roof), and wheel arches are notably chip-free! Orange back has a few little marks at exposed edges and a little rough casting.
The striped Dinky Toys box has such vivid, bright colours! Card is clean and looks barely handled too. Scarcely any wear at all!
This fine Dinky Truck presents well, especially alongside its bright clean box!
