Issued during 1960 by the respected Spot-On manufacturer in strictly 1:42 scale.
This version is finished in red with a silver chassis, black roof and cream wagon bed. Notably intact and complete transfers throughout, including the lettering ‘BRITISH ROAD SERVICES’ on the cab roof front and the colourful, detailed logo on both cab doors. Paint finish is original throughout, and the shiny black cab roof is lustrous and free of chips/rubs. Presents well!Occasional little rub to some of the raised side body lines and a little marking to some of the wheel arches on one side. Presents well!
The card box is bright and complete. No splits.
Uusal grubbiness at edges etc. and an area of surface removal at both ends where the sellotape keeping the lid in place was carelessly removed. Period penned price of 13/6 at both ends of the lid. Inside, you will find the intricate full card packing insert in which the truck is secured in place.
