An impressive military Gift Set made between 1957-65. This set comprises:

1) Dinky 660 Mighty Antar Tank Transporter is in authentic condition – obviously unused and rarely handled, this model has a fine sheen to the deep military green finish. Early issue without window glazing. Bright axles and metal fittings. There are a few near-inevitable marks (e.g. where metal meets metal at the ramps, a couple where the tank rests on the bed),and there is a little paint irregularity on the raised roof detail. All original and as-made! Such a difficult item to find absolutely mint!

2) Dinky 651 Centurion Tank has a pleasing sheen to the deep military green finish. However, there are chips at the front exposed edges and fewer marks at rear exposed edges. Rub to a raised detail and a couple of curious darker green, light brush strokes on the top section (not immediately obvious). They are not covering chips so difficult to see how or why they are there. Brightest baseplate, and smooth supple tracks.

Of course, both items turn up regularly enough individually – but rarely as a Gift Set.
The cream card insert with backdrop is intact and bright with no wear at the wheel slots. The usually missing cream card wedges are present too.

A very pleasing backdrop for both military pieces
and adding to the desirability and value of this set.
The large striped Supertoys box is bright and clean with no graffiti.

Minimal wear generally, so this box presents well. A tiny nick in the card at one lid side beneath the old sellotape which kept the lid closed (really minor!). Little repair to a tear on the front section of the base.
