This is a scarce 1st type cab version finished in violet blue with a paler blue back, matching hubs and flash. Large hook. No tank slits or chain post bosses. Radial tyres. Original throughout with a gleaming paint finish.

Some chipping in the usual places, mostly at wheel arches and one edge of the cab roof, rear of the light blue back, front bumper. A little tarnishing to some of the axles, although most of the axle ends are bright.
The dark blue box with a paper label has excellent, strong clean colours. 2nd type is pictured. Small corner edge nick to the paper label at one lid end. Little scuff at an edge of the lid. No graffiti or splits to lid or base.
An extremely scarce Foden in all original condition from a U.S Dinky specialist.
