Notes
A very scarce and early Gift set from Dinky (1936-37). This pre-war set comprises a locomotive and two interlocking coaches in silver with red trim. Smooth black wheels and white tyres (all originals and most run freely, two have stiffened a little). Notably, this three part set comes with all pieces intact; so often the delicate couplings break off in a set of this age.
Finish is generally bright although there is some pitting/tarnishing. Very good original paint finish – more marking to the red finish at the exposed edges/places you would expect. Still a most presentable early Dinky set in all original condition and a difficult find in this colour finish.
