A quite remarkable early Dinky model in sound original condition, finished in blue and white with excellent ‘Marmite’ advertisement lettering on both sides.

Issued between 1934-38, this Motor Bus has metal wheels and is stamped ‘Meccano Dinky Toys’ on the base.
It has picked up a smear of a reddish paint at the rear. No crazing. One tiny hole in the casting head-on (due to the unstable nature of the metal alloy used at this time, this is a common occurence and indeed this example has fared better than most!). Some paint chipping as you would expect.
A rare find.
