Notes
This is the most difficult version to source ( allowing for the South African issues of course)and was made towards the end of a long production run. This example is in superb condition with a distinctive light blue original finish, deeper blue plastic wheels and the correct matte baseplate. A delightful and most attractive example in very close to mint condition!
One little touch-in at a wheel arch. None of the expected wear to the body lines or indeed to the roof. Presents very nicely indeed, giving the impression of unsold old shop stock.
The correct later issue pale yellow card box is clean and vividly-coloured with the correct ‘blank’ spot at the end (not an over-sticker as was used with the earlier boxes, but imprinted on to the card). Some shelf grubbiness on the underside of the box. Price is written at an end flap.
