Not an easy model to find! This large Dinky excavator model was issued between 1963-67. The model has a primrose yellow plastic body with red and green metal parts. Complete ‘Ruston Bucyrus’ labels on both sides. A few little chips on the jib/bucket and a couple on the edge of the red platform on the sides. Bright and shiny metal parts. Accurate track replacements have been fitted (the original rubber tracks nearly always perish).
The distinctive sturdy card Dinky Supertoys box is one of the best we have seen! Such day-one bright clean colours on sturdy undamaged card!
Close to shop-fresh (one little crumple). It has been well-protected by the colourful paper over-sleeve (usually missing). Colours are vibrant, although understandably, there are a few end curls and small tears.
Inner card packing piece is present and complete (minor wear and a small tear).
