Notes
This is the slightly later issue, made between 1961-69 with window glazing and a red-backed ?Euclid? logo at the sides. Such a fine Supertoy from Dinky?s heyday; surely every child from the mid 50?s-60?s remembers it well!
Very difficult to find absolutely mint, this is one of the nicest examples we have seen in a while. The truck has a lovely bright yellow, all-original paint finish, perfect ?Euclid? lettering and wording on both sides. Complete logo on one side, very faint scratch on the other.
There are just a few little marks at exposed edges. Mechanism for raising and lowering the tipper works well. Notably, there are none of the expected marks at the rear of the cab roof. Correct that this later issue would have a part metal, part plastic winding handle.
The unusual pictorial end flap box is bright, and clean with all end flaps present. Correct that this late issue should have this style of box. Minimal wear at end flaps and corners, and at some time, the winding handle pierced the box at one side.
