An unusual Gift Set from Corgi, made in collaboration with Marks & Spencer and sold only in selected stores in small quantities. Several Gift Sets were made in the range for a short period (during 1978) with unique liveries and distinctive boxes. No mention of Corgi on the models.
This is one of the largest sets and comprises:

1) Police Jaguar XJ12C in crisp white finish with bright sirens etc on the roof, straight aerial and fresh bonnet and door labels. In tip top condition, with bright chrome, and intact tow hook. Mint.
2) Fiat X1/9 in ?pearlised? metallic blue finish and black. Mint.
3) Berliet Wrecker in orange and white with gold booms and tow hook. All delicate parts are complete. Unavoidable mark where the tow hooks are secured. All labels are bright and fresh-looking.
4)Land Rover ‘POLICE ACCIDENT UNIT’. One tiny mark (probably as-made).
5) Renault 5TS. One dot away from mint (again probably as-made).

Attractive, pristine colourful card backdrop for the models.
Plastic tray in which the models sit has a few splits at one end, probably caused by tow-hooks or protruding parts.
The large colourful lid is in superb fresh condition with intact cellophane. Few little light scratches at one end. No graffiti.
Box lid is complete, bright and clean with minor wear only.
