A very fine early issue example of this popular Dinky model, issued between 1948-52. Dark blue cab and chassis, pale blue tank and flash.
In very near mint condition with a vibrant original paint finish. Undented tinplate tank too. Fine tread radial tyres, 20 mph sign at rear, large hook, spare wheel, tinplate ladders. No rust/discolouration to the ladders (just a small chip to the black paint). Looks unused and barely handled with just a couple of very small marks on the cab roof (you have to peer closely to see these!). Couple of the usual marks at the number plate area and a dot or two on the silver bumper. Bright baseplate. Axles would benefit from a careful clean.

A very difficult find in this condition.
The unusual deep green box with paper label is clean, bright and complete. Such vibrant colours! A few small ‘nibbles’ to the outer edge of the paper label. Raised pressure point caused by the roof detail of the tank pressing on the lid of the box, but not a full puncture. Faintest shopkeeper’s price of 9/- at one end of the lid. Minor grubbiness. No tears or repairs and the card feels sturdy and fresh.

A very attractive early commercial Dinky model in all original condition.
