There were lots of colour versions of this popular Dinky toy!
This version has a light tan cab, notably light green back too, red hubs, black lettering, smooth black tyres. An unplayed with example in wonderful, virtually mint condition ? complete with a working tow hook. Perfect ?DINKY SERVICE? lettering in black on both sides, bright winding handle and baseplate. Looks unused!
None of the usual marks at exposed edges, or indeed at the tinplate jib. After much careful scrutiny, we noted one dot at the rear and a faint rub at the number plate (being extra-fussy here).
This scarce example has a most attractive yellow and blue picture box – again so fresh, clean and bright! What a gem all-round!
