This version is more difficult to find than the standard tan and green ? it has a mid chocolate brown cab and chassis, green back, red hubs, white lettering. In near mint, all original condition, complete with a working tow hook. Bright winding handle, including the cuff. Bright baseplate and axles, too.
One little mark at the rear of the cab roof, a couple at the front bumper and a little corrosion on the tinplate jib tip, resulting in slight loss of vibrancy to the colour at this point as well as a small amount of paint loss.
Perfect ?DINKY SERVICE? white lettering on both sides.
The sturdy orange card box with paper label is bright, fresh and very clean. A little minor age wear, including rusting at the staples.
Scarce.
