One of the most sought-after Big Bedford advertising lorries, issued between 1958-59 only. This iconic Dinky commercial truck has a vibrant and all-original red cab and chassis and a bright yellow back.
More commonly found with the ‘Bean Can’ transfers, this scarce version has the all-important ‘Sauce Bottle’ transfers in mint condition on both sides.
Barely a mark on this model, although there are a couple of the usual little chips on the rear door area. Couple of light rubs to the red finish of the raised detail of the rear wheel arches. Couple of tiny marks besides. Baseplate is bright and fresh. The rear doors open and close well. None of the usual marks on the yellow roof of the box van. Such a lovely lustre throughout! This scarce advertising van has had careful handling only, and makes a wonderful display piece.
The attractive and correctly-pictured Supertoy box is in outstanding condition, with hardly any wear at all. So clean and vividly-coloured with no graffiti. Flick of yellow on one box end immediately below the number and on one side of the lid.
One to treasure!
