Issued between 1957-58, this is one of the most desirable Dinky commercial advertising vans. It is a vibrant, close to mint example with the distinctive transfers virtually perfect on both sides. In all original condition. Not a trace of sunfading on this example – carefully handled and stored. Very bright and shiny baseplate and axles. Looks like old shop stock!
One little mark at the back edge of the cab roof and another at the edge of the box van. A few negligible dots may be found if you hunt for them! Faint mark through one of the transfers.
The U.S. export box is a fitting partner – very bright and clean with barely any wear at all.
Hudson Dobson label is complete, bright and clean. Dinky stamp dates this example from 1957.
This model is part of a prestigious U.S. collector’s personal stash of models, and has been carefully tucked away for years.
