Notes
A sought-after model from the Dinky range of BBC vehicles made between 1959-64. A deep lustrous shade of green with a pale grey band and detailed decals on both sides (small edge nick to one), bright extending mast, notably complete with the original detachable dish. Bright base and shiny winding handle (although slight tarnishing to the cuff).
Displays well.
A stray dab of factory grey paint hidden by the extending mast and a small storage blemish on one side. Couple of very small marks besides.
Comes complete with the often missing Instruction Leaflet:
The Supertoys striped box is bright and complete with no splits.
Both upper and lower packing pieces are present.
Rusty staples now. Minor wear besides. Dinky Quality Control Inspection Tag is still present. Shopkeeper’s faint pencilled writing at one end of the lid, penned price at another and remains of a shop price label.
