Notes

This is a very hard set to find! Issued between 1959-62. This Gift Set comprises:
1) 1111 Massey-Ferguson “780” Combine Harvester. Early issue with metal tines (repaired break to one). Perfect transfers and bright metal parts.

Several little retouches to the paint finish, visible upon close inspection.
Paint finish is vivid with no sunfading and has a fine lustre.
2) 50 Massey-Ferguson ‘65’ Tractor in bright red and pale grey, silver seat and steering wheel. Red plastic wheels. Very near mint original condition, although one of the small tyres has several very small, not full thickness, splits. The transfers are complete on both sides.

3) 51 Massey-Ferguson Hydraulic Tipping 30 CWT Trailer in red and orange-yellow finish with red plastic wheels. Near mint, with just a few little marks at two top edges of the yellow trailer and the usual very small marks at the tow ring.
This Gift Set comes with two lower packing pieces in which the items sit securely.

The lift-off lid box is complete, although there is some notable wear particularly to the lid edges.

One tape repair too. Colours are quite vibrant however, apart from one side of the lid which has a portion of slight sunfading. No graffiti, unless you count the shopkeeper’s pencilled price on the box base underside.
