Issued between 1954-60 in various colour combinations, this example is attractively finished in a lustrous reddish-maroon with a beige tinplate canopy and red cast wheels.
A wonderful display piece!
Bright baseplate. Upon closest scrutiny, you will see a couple of negligible marks at a wheel arch and one on the cab roof edge. Couple of minor marks besides. None of the expected marks at bumpers. Shiny axles and smooth original tyres.
The box is complete with all end flaps (minor start of a tear to one). A little age grubbiness and a shopkeeper’s pencilled price at an end flap. Correct colour spot.
