Issued between 1954-60 in various colour finishes, this delightful unused example is finished in cream with orange flashes and cream ridged wheels. Matt baseplate with small print. Not an easy find, especially when it is free of the usual box rubbing to the side flashes!
Looking like unsold shop stock, this example has just a couple of little marks on the roof, a small casting bulge and a very small casting indentation. Presents well with a pleasing lustre.
The box is crisp, clean and bright with no tears or graffiti. Looks barely handled. Correct colour spot, too. Pencilled numbering on one box face. Correct colour spot at the end flaps.
A fine example of this model in this scarce colour finish.
