Extremely difficult version to find at all, let alone in this virtually mint condition! Undoubtedly one of the best surviving examples, this early commercial Dinky has a vibrant deep orange-yellow and deepest blue finish. Small tow hook, ridged hubs. An outstanding example:
Upon the most critical scrutiny, there is a small mark at the rear (easily overlooked) and one may find the occasional tiniest mark but really this is as close to mint as one can imagine. Some light tarnishing to the spare wheel fixing and a small area of rough casting on the ‘headboard’.
The early buff box with a picture label is a fitting partner: clean, bright and the card feels sturdy.
Small storage tear to the label which is vividly-coloured and clean. No splits or graffiti. Correct colour spot (daub of factory yellow) on the very fresh and bright paper label at lid end.
