Notes
This fine Devon model has a distinctive Petrol Blue finish with lighter blue ridged wheels:


Bright early baseplate with small lettering:

A little rough casting in a couple of places with the occasional little rub, very small mark. Still a very attractive item with a high lustre.
The box is dual-numbered, so this example dates from 1954 when the numbering was changed from 40D to 154. Box has a rather ‘scrubbed’ appearance and one end flap has been re-attached.
