A gleaming vivid original deep blue paint finish on this early Bedford Van! One of the first Corgi models made, manufacture of this model began during 1956. Complete clean and fresh-looking ‘Daily Express’ labels on both sides, and flat spun wheels (hub stickers have been applied but can be removed if desired).

Upon close inspection, there is a faint flick of red paint on the roof (not immediately obvious) and there is a small area of box rubbing which looks like close faint scratches in one place. Stray dots of factory silver above a headlight.
The early blue box is complete, crisp and bright. One small start of a tear at an end flap and a small edge crumple. No graffiti. Strong colours and minimal edge rubbing.
