Notes
Issued between 1956-59, this model has a sleek, shining deep blue finish with a black interior, complete with taxi driver. Light blue ridged wheels. Complete and unblemished ‘Taxi’ sign on the roof. Early issue with a black base and 40H (earlier numbering) stamped.
A few miniscule marks and a chip at a front wheel arch.
The card pictorial box looks very bright and fresh with the correct colour spot at the end flaps and no graffiti. A very fine example indeed with crisp barely handled card. Early issue so Dinky number enclosed in a black (not red) oval.
A couple of small stains on the top surface.
