Issued between 1964-66, this is an early, scarce Routemaster Bus with all those realistic touches not present in the later issues. Perfect and complete decorative ‘Corgi Classics’ and ‘Naturally Corgi Toys’ transfers. Bright shaped spun wheels with suspension. Conductor and driver. Ribbed roof (couple of tiny dots), jewelled headlights.
The pictorial card box is crisp and vividly-coloured, although there is a small area of surface removal at an end flap.
Minor handling wear besides but no tears. Pencilled writing inside an end flap suggests that this example was purchased 4th July 1964.
