Notes
Issued between 1961-65, this model has an attractive deep metallic blue finish with raised “ECURIE ECOSSE” lettering in paler blue on both sides. Shaped spun wheels. A great item to display especially with a selection of Corgi racing cars from the same era – this transporter would hold three. A couple of small marks/little rubs which barely detract and the securing pins to the top deck would benefit from a metal polish carefully applied.
Rarely handled, this transporter has a lustrous sheen.
The vividly-coloured illustrated box is complete with inner card packing pieces and ‘Moorgate’ Corgi Club Membership Form.
Instructions, too:
There are a couple of little punctures to the underside of the box base, minor edge grubbiness and a little of the usual rubbing to some edges. Still a nice example. No graffiti or corner splits.
