The first we have ever offered for sale – this is a rare find indeed, and in this condition an absolute must for your collection.
This Taunus model was made for export to the German market only between 1967-68. This shop-fresh example has a white and deepest green finish with ‘POLIZEI’ labels on both doors and boot. Blue roof light. Straight bright aerial. Shiny wheels with white surround. Brightest unrubbed chrome at bumpers and fresh, clean and complete number plates, front and rear.
Fixed to a pristine plastic and card ‘Roadway’ base.
Perspex top has the black Dinky Toys label which gives information about the real car (interestingly the Ford Taunus achieves a maximum speed of 84 m.p.h.). Two small corner cracks to the perspex top which is otherwise unblemished.
