Notes
The first we have ever offered for sale – this is a very hard set to find! Issued between 1959-62. This Gift Set comprises:
1) 1111 Massey-Ferguson “780” Combine Harvester. Early issue with metal tines. Originally, there would have been five ‘bars’ of tines, only four are present now and notably all are intact. Fine original paint finish shows that this Combine Harvester has had little handling. The occasional little mark to the paint finish at some exposed edges. Perfect transfers and bright metal parts.
2) 50 Massey-Ferguson ‘65’ Tractor in bright red and pale grey, bare metal seat and red metal wheels. Tiny hole in the seat (as-made). The occasional little mark to the paint finish and the transfers are complete on both sides.
3) 51 Massey-Ferguson Hydraulic Tipping 30 CWT Trailer in red and orange-yellow finish with red metal wheels. A few little marks mostly
at edges of the yellow trailer and the usual marks at the tow ring.
This Gift Set comes with three lower packing pieces in which the items sit securely.
Also the Instruction Sheet for the Combine Harvester is still present, as is the packing ring for this item. Correct early ‘Moorgate’ Corgi Club Membership Form is included too.
The outer lift-off lid box is complete, although there is some notable wear particularly to the lid, especially at edges. One corner split too. Colours are quite vibrant however and there is no graffiti.
