There were lots of colour versions of this popular Dinky toy!
This scarce early version has a dark grey cab, mid blue back, red ridged wheels, white lettering, smooth black tyres. An all original example that has a fine lustre to the paint finish throughout, complete with a working tow hook operated by means of a shiny winding handle.

A few of the usual marks at exposed edges of the blue back, whereas the dark grey cab is very close to mint. There are some lightly scattered dots marking the base of the blue back.
The sturdy deep orange lift-off lid box is really very nice indeed, with strong colours and minimal wear to edges. Some peeling to the paper lining on the inside of the box base. Some rust staining at the staples.
