Notes
One of the most eagerly sought-after Corgi models, especially in this condition with working chimes and unapplied transfers, too! With just a couple of barely visible marks, this is a very pleasing example indeed.
The Ford Thames Van has a shining blue and cream finish with colourful awning and decorative trimmings, sliding windows and notably when you turn the handle the chimes play a tune!
Bright plated fittings and complete ’Wall’s’ transfers on both sides. Nice to see that this example comes complete with the crisp and bright colourful card stand:
the unapplied transfers:
the card packing ring and the wrap-around card packing piece.
The windows of the van give the appearance of being ‘frosted’, now.
The decorative card box is very crisp, clean and bright, showing minimal handling.
A truly nostalgic piece!
