Notes
Issued between 1956-59, this model has a very fresh and vibrant deep green and orange-yellow finish with matching wheels, detailed interior, complete with taxi driver. Matt baseplate. Just a couple of the tiniest marks to the tip of the ‘Taxi’ sign on the roof, a couple of marks on the front bumper and a dot on one rear side window edge.
The card pictorial box looks very bright and fresh with the correct colour spot at the end flaps. Note that this early version has the Dinky number in a black oval – scarce variation.
Minor handling wear, including a little grubbiness. Shopkeeper’s pencilled prices.
