We are pleased to offer for sale the most sought-after Big Bedford advertising lorry, issued between 1958-59 only. This fine model has a vibrant red cab and chassis and a bright yellow back.

More commonly found with the ‘Bean Can’ transfers, this scarce version has the all-important ‘Sauce Bottle’ transfers in virtually mint condition on both sides:

Barely a mark on this model, although there are a couple of dabs of retouching at the back doors and a few on the cab. There are some small areas to the van sides and doors which are a slightly darker shade. We do not believe these are repainting. Baseplate is bright and fresh, too. The rear doors open and close well.
This scarce advertising van has had careful handling only, and makes a wonderful display piece.
The attractive and correctly-pictured Supertoy box is in outstanding condition; close to perfect in fact with just a little shelf rubbing at the base underside. So clean and vividly-coloured with no graffiti.

This is an especially difficult model to find in any condition, with mint/boxed prices having seen some very healthy price increases over the past couple of years.
