Notes
Two-tone classic Dinky cars are always sought-after and of course in short supply! This example is in all original conditon with a distinctive light blue and cerise finish, mid-blue ridged wheels, bright baseplate.
Obviously unplayed-with and carefully handled, this model has a few little marks on the roof. Couple of minor marks besides. The light blue lower has rather a thin paint wash (being extra-fussy here).
The bright pictorial box is very crisp, clean and fresh. Blue colour spot at the end flaps. Shopkeeper’s lightly pencilled price. Hard to find in this correctly-spotted box (more usually found in the slightly later two tone box with a two tone colour spot). All blue versions of this model were not made.
A difficult find in any condition.
