Re-numbered from 40J in 1954, this is one of the finest examples you will find of the Austin Somerset saloon Dinky model. Pale blue finish with mid-blue ridged wheels and a bright baseplate, fine original silver detailing at radiator, bumpers and headlights. Looks like old shop stock!
There is just one barely visible rub at a body line, but we cannot downgrade for that.
The box is a delight! It is difficult enough to find the models in mint condition – let alone finding a box this fine!
Correct colour spot too.
You will never need to upgrade this one. Just about as perfect as they get! For the collector and investor to enjoy.
