Notes
One of the earliest Dinky toys, this is a rare find indeed. First issued during 1937, this pre-war model is an all original and sound example in lustrous deep maroon, complete with both delightful detailed figures inside. Correct that this issue has black smooth wheels, white tyres and thin axles. Runs smoothly with no warping. Due to notoriously unstable diecast alloys in these earliest of models, many pre-war toys have parts missing now. Pleased to say that this example is all complete with an intact original radiator and headlight assembly too. Faint crazing to one wheel arch, but this model has survived better than most.
