Notes
Issued between 1957-60 with a dark metallic green finish, black roof and grey baseplate with bulge (mechanical version), although this is the non-mechanical version. Flat spun wheels. In superb condition, this model is mint.
Note however, that the original owner wrote the date on the baseplate (21/12/57).
The early powder-blue picture box is a fitting partner – with excellent strong colours on crisp card. Difficult to find these early boxes so nice! Shopkeeper’s price at an end flap and a minor rub or two. Complete with the colour promotional booklet ( looking as-new).
