Issued 1963-66. A scarce item from Dinky in original and quite splendid condition throughout! The Commer Prime Mover has a gleaming primrose yellow and silver finish with blue plastic hubs and window glazing. Spare wheel is still stowed. Perhaps a negigible dot or two, but obviously unused.
The silver trailer looks equally fresh – in mint condition.
There are a choice of two covers: blue plastic canopy or stake fittings. Both intact, complete and still firmly slotted in place as if they have never been removed. This box has an excellent inner, notably free from the usual tears. Just minor marking caused by the models:
All items are housed in a distinctive, sturdy presentation-style box, unusual in green. The stand up part of the lid has never been pushed out for display, so again suggesting that this item is unsold old shop stock. Just two little areas of surface removal where the box was originally taped shut, as usual. The colours are vivid and clean too.
An eye-catching set on display – it is always an especial pleasure to find Dinky sets in this condition!
