An early classic Foden model – and a difficult find in this mid-blue finish with a black chassis and silver flash. An early issue, so correct without a tow hook or tank slits on the underside and correctly presented in the first buff box with a paper label. Such a vibrant and distinctive colour, this Foden presents very well, especially with those early herringbone tyres! Barely a mark on this example – obviously barely handled, although the cab roof is a distinctly different hue. Difficult to understand why – perhaps the roof has been varnished? May improve with a careful specialist clean. Indeed, this model is in exceptional condition and is virtually mint!

Minor age wear only and a shopkeeper’s pencilled price at one end.
Typically one of the last items to be added to a Dinky commercial collection!
