We have not seen a better example of this classic Dinky Supertoy tanker issued between 1958-64.
This model has a truly lustrous, vivid red original finish throughout and diecast hubs (later issues had plastic hubs), tinplate tank has transfers on both sides and at rear. None of the usual problems often found with these models i.e. rust, crazing, discolouration to the white transfer, flaking paint to the ladder ? no dents in the tanker or indeed any rust spots.
The superb fresh transfers at the sides are in exceptional condition:

Really tempted to grade this model mint – and it is only a slight blemish to the tank paint finish in one small area (factory) and a negligible mark or two e.g. to the rear label which has down graded it.
The striped pictorial box is very fresh, clean and bright with no splits or graffiti. No colour fading to the box lid or base and none of the usual rubbing at corners of the lid. Some rusting to the staples and a minor small bulge to the box lid.
