Issued between 1961-62, this fine bus model has an original and lustrous, bright red paint finish with red ridged diecast wheels, knobbly tyres, a Leyland grille and complete ‘Exide Batteries’ labels on one side, tiny dot in the transfer at the other. This version has no numbers on the destination boards at front and rear.

Notably, this bus has lost none of its colour vibrancy, has just a couple of the usual chips at wheel arches. Occasional little mark at an exposed edge etc. that barely detracts. This sought-after model displays really well.
The unusual plain yellow card box is complete and quite crisp with all end flaps intact. A few small stains and a little puncture. Repaired tear at an end flap.
