Notes

What a sensational set this is, issued by Corgi during 1969!

It comprises:
1) Corgi 1148 Scammell Car Transporter in red and white with all four yellow fixing clips intact. A couple of minor marks only and the metal parts are rather damp-affected now.

2) Corgi 345 MGC GT in yellow and black with jewelled lights and suspension on spoked wheels. Very near mint condition with just a tiny area of discolouration at a door edge and a few pin prick marks. Complete MGC GT label and bright chrome. Complete with black suitcase.

3) Corgi 340 Sunbeam Imp ‘Monte Carlo’ in bright metallic blue. Very near mint condition with just one little nick at one door racing number.
Suspension on detailed cast wheels.

4) Corgi 201 The Saint’s Volvo. Scarce issue in white with a red bonnet label and whizzwheels. Not strictly correct item for this set with whizzwheels, but a scarce and desirable item nonetheless and in very near mint condition, too.

5) Corgi 249 Morris Mini Cooper De-Luxe in black with a red roof and complete ‘wickerwork’ side panels. Suspension on detailed cast wheels.

One minor dot or two away from mint.

6) Corgi 226 Morris Mini Minor in metallic maroon with suspension on detailed cast wheels. Several little marks, so graded excellent.

7) Corgi 339 Mini Cooper ‘S’ Monte Carlo in red and white with chrome roofrack and two spare tyres. Near mint condition with a little stain to one door racing number and slight speckling to the other. Occasional small mark/rub besides.

All contents are housed in a complete and bright polystyrene inner (couple of small rub marks from the models).

This set comes complete with model specific Instruction Leaflet for the 340 Monte Carlo Sunbeam Imp which has a Corgi Club Membership Form on the reverse.

Also present is the little still-sealed bag of traffic cones.

The outer box is really very nice indeed with intact original cellophane and all end flaps present. Minor wear only and no graffiti.
