An impressive Dinky military item, this tank transporter is 1:55 scale, and was issued between 1959-63. Fine matt original finish is in military olive green with matching concave and ridged wheels (trailer). Window glazing. The spare wheel for the trailer has a small split. All components are complete and intact including the drop down ramps on the trailer. Bright baseplate and metal parts. It is only upon the closest scrutiny that you may detect a very small and subtle area of discolouration at the back of the cab roof (extra fussy here!) and the occasional dot or two besides, but really this transporter is as nice as you could wish! Obviously, this military piece has spent most of its life in the box.
The plain striped Supertoys box is very fresh, bright and clean with barely any age wear at all. A very nice example indeed and a harder find than the usual pictorial box version.
No splits. Shopkeeper’s price at one end of the lid.
Packing piece in which the truck sits, is still present inside the box (minor ruffle or two).
