A popular Corgi model of this much-loved little car with a smart red and black finish and distinctive ‘wickerwork’ panelling at both sides and at the rear. Sparkling jewelled headlights and suspension on shiny spun wheels. Nice to see that the wickerwork detail is complete and firmly in place. Issued between 1965-69.
Upon closest scrutiny, this model is hard to fault. A suggestion of a tiny mark on the roof – but it is harsh to downgrade from mint for that.
The pictorial box is complete, bright and clean with vibrant colours on crisp card. Very small start of a tear at a seam and a light stain at an end flap. No graffiti.
