Produced for such a short time, this Noddy car with the black-faced Golly character is one of the rarest Corgi models! Later issues of this model had the Golly’s face in grey or even a light pinkish tan colour. This is an authentic early example in excellent condition with a few touch-ins at the wheel arches and some notable rubbing to the chrome bumpers.

The bright pictorial inner is close to mint with minor marking from the car and the occasional little edge ruffle.

The colourful window box is dated 1969 on the reverse. It is intact if a little worn now with some edge rubbing, a little crease or two and a replaced cellophane window. No tears. Shopkeeper’s penned price of 13/6 at an end flap.
