Notes
A fine, all original example (1953) with no triangular lugs next to the number plate, early ridged wheels, and rear axle fixed by tin clips. Large unpainted hook. A beautiful lustrous paint finish in this distinctive bright mid blue (not French or violet blue) and red finish with light blue wheels.
A few of the usual little marks to the paint finish at wheel arches, and a couple at the edge of the cab roof, edge of the flatbed (minor). Two small areas of paint touch-ins above and below the driver’s side window. Very bright axles and spare wheel fixing:
The correct early blue box with picture label is complete, very bright and without splits.
A little minor age wear only, and a little surface removal at the end (probably due to the removal of a price label).
