Notes
Every Dinky commercial collection should have one of these! Issued between 1960 -64, this Bedford model has a shining two tone yellow and orange paint finish. Bright baseplate and notably perfect ‘Dinky Toys’ and ‘Meccano’ lettering throughout. Complete with three removable plastic pallets.

Just a few little chips where you would expect ie. one at a top edge and at the rear door area etc., and upon close inspection there are a couple of little touch-ins too.
The mechanism works well when the handle is turned, moving the sliding interior platforms so that goods (in this case pallets) may be loaded and unloaded more easily. Winding handle is a little rusty at the cuff edge.
Authentic Instruction leaflet included, with full instructions on how to operate the ingenious mechanism of this van.

The striped SUPERTOYS outer box looks very clean and fresh with no splits and notably barely any wear at edges and corners.

Faint pencil writing on the lid which is easily overlooked. Some rusting at the staples – but still a very nice box indeed.
Dated April 1960 from the Dinky stamp inside the lid!
