Notes
This classic Dinky model has rarely been out of its box. Issued between 1954-60. (Dinky stamp is very faint but it looks like this actual model was produced during 1956).
The horse box has a bright and shining maroon body cast in aluminium,- just a couple of minor marks away from mint! All original condition throughout.
Complete “EXPRESS HORSE BOX HIRE SERVICE” transfers on both sides. The “BRITISH RAILWAYS” sign above the cab and at both sides are complete, too.
20 mph sign is in place on the hinged rear ramp.
The striped picture box is very fresh and clean with no splits. ‘LF’ (lead free) label is still in place at the box end. Minor surface removal at one end where a shopkeeper’s price has been erased and a little scuffing at one side.
