From a discerning collector’s private collection, this is an especially difficult second type Foden to source. In all original condition, this commercial Dinky model has a distinctive French blue and deep red finish with lighter blue ridged Supertoy wheels. Only the second example we have seen in many years. With just a little light chipping at wheel arches, and the occasional dot/rough casting on the roof, this is a worthy addition to any serious Dinky commercial collection, particularly bearing in mind its scarcity.

The blue Supertoys box with a paper label is sound and complete with no splits or graffiti, save a shopkeeper’s pencilled price at one end.

Small area of surface removal at one end probably due to a price label. A little minor edge creasing/tearing to the paper label. Evidence that at one time, this box had the Hudson Dobson export label attached.
