This is an eye-catching, lustrous red and yellow Comet truck which looks superb on display! AS close to mint as one could get!
With none of the usual chipping at the yellow stake back, or indeed on the cab. After much scrutiny, there is a little rust to the spare wheel carrier and rear axle. The sheen throughout shows that this truck has been very carefully handled and stored – the paint has lost none of its lustre.
Yellow ridged wheels and a bright baseplate.
The early blue box with a red picture label is fresh and complete with strong vivid colours and no tears to the paper label. Minimal age wear only.
Issued between 1949-54.
