This splendid first issue Foden with a red cab and flatbed with black chassis and flash is a rare find indeed from 1947-48. This beautiful Dinky Foden has a vivid day one bright finish throughout; a cherished example that has been very carefully handled and stored. Correct that this model has no tanker slits nor chain post bosses and is a very early issue without a tow hook.
A couple of negligible marks only. Surely one of the best surviving examples. Correct early box is in wonderful condition too – looking fresh and vibrant with no splits or graffiti. Crsip card too. Red colour spot at box end. Lovely example both model and box!
