Barely handled and extremely well looked after, we are especially delighted to offer this scarce original Gift Set for sale. Straight from a private collection:

The set comprises:
1) Corgi 318 Mini Cooper ‘S’ in bright red finish with a white roof, jewelled head and spotlights, racing number ‘52’ on both sides, Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot, shaped spun wheels with suspension. In close to mint condition, with a few tiny marks to one edge of the white roof and a couple of dots to the cream background of one door label.

2) Corgi 322 Rover 2000 in shining metallic maroon finish with a white roof, Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot, racing number ‘136’ on both doors. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled headlights and “Trans-O-Lite” lights. In very near mint condition with a few nibbles to the racing number on the doors (minor). A couple of bumper marks too.

3) Corgi 323 Citroen DS19 in pale blue finish with a white roof. Mint condition! Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled lights, intact aerial on the roof. Racing number ‘75’ on both sides, Rally labels on bonnet and boot. Exceptional fresh condition on this model.

The very detailed card plinth on which each car sits is in clean, bright and fresh condition. No tears or grubbiness; even most of the push-out slots where the cars sit are still unpunched!

The pictorial all-card outer box is very bright and crisp with no tears and excellent strong colours.

Just minor wear at corners, and a little grubby mark. Shopkeeper’s price of 14/11 at an end flap. One of the best examples of this desirable rare Corgi Gift Set that we have seen.
